“We don't hit women.” The producer of the Yakuza series describes the difference between it and GTA

In a press interview with The Japan Times, Mr. Masayoshi Yokoyama responded to the comparison of the Yakuza series to GTA, describing it as a Japanese version of GTA, saying:

“In our game, you can’t just randomly hit someone and start getting violent. Hostile actions are in response to provocation by others. In addition, there is a clear rule in the game, which is that the hero cannot hit women.”
